Young Entrepreneurs Help TLC

carnarvon1Form 6L at the Carnarvon School Bingham, is a hot bed of entrepreneurial skills.

Friends, Amara Hamilton, Savanna Fox and Amy Haviland - assisted by Alana Walker - recently held a sale of toys (collected from their school friends) in aid of Teddies for Loving Care charity. They raised the impressive sum of £148-50and any toys that didn't sell -  along with lots of shoes that had been collected by the pupils - went on a Police Aid convoy to Uganda.

Amara and Savanna with help from their Mums, found the TLC website when looking for a charity to support. They contacted the Chairman, Graham Riche, who took them some badges, key rings and a large bear to help with the sale.

The presentation took place on Friday 25th March,  by kind permission of the head teacher Jonathan Cunliffe, when Graham accepted the cheque from the girls .
