autokina1Amidst the glitz and nostalgia associated with the Wollaton Park Autokarna there were numerous charity stalls and TLC was represented once again this year. Armed with teddies, car stickers and lapel badges for the TLC stall the event provided another opportunity to promote TLC and to raise funds for this charity.

qmc-eye-departmentA few weeks ago Committee Member Chris Smith  was at the Qeeen's Medical Centre having eye laser treatment and in the next consulting room was a small boy who was, in Chris's own words, "giving it LOUD"; he didn't want anything done to him at all!

Let me make one thing clear right from the start, the event was not at Southwell but at Leyfields Farm near Kneesall, a super location and bigger than anything we have been to all year. The Provincial Marquee was set up right in the middle of pet supplies, farm machinery and professional firm's stands - so it was certain to attract a good number of passing customers.
